It's always a hard trick to pull off (when you have a new word that is trying to convey a message / feeling) coming up with a logo design / brand style that has something special about it and can also be readable straightaway. After many options and much tweaking one of my favourite logo designs appeared, here it is...

Some recent logo designs/branding covering a wide area of styles and businesses, it's nice to be kept on your toes finding the best look for the area the company is inhabiting while finding that extra something to make it stand out from the crowd.

It was a great pleasure to come up with the logo and branding for The Great Yorkshire Sweet Shop on The Shambles in York recently which then led onto jar and box labels, the brief being to keep a traditional, local style but with a fresh feel - very tempting to be fully paid in sweets too! After the success of the original label designs and potions Castle Howard wanted their very own version. With new illustrations and tweaks to the design they have a great looking new range.

I designed the logo and branding for Potions Cauldron last year and this year had the great pleasure of coming up with the design for their new range of 'potions'. They have come out really well and the effect of the swirl in the drink is a little hyponotic, the vid here shows it off to great affect.

Two recent and very different but equally as enjoyable website designs to peruse, go on, give em a look and even a 'like'.

Having visited just a month ago I can say I'd totally agree with this, the building itself is amazingly ugly/beautiful and I'd never seen an exhibition so well put together and thoughtfully laid out, using it's architectural space and very clever ways of splitting the different pieces of art up but keeping the overall feel of the exhibition, Impressed!

If you are ever over in Sweden (and why wouldn't you be!) then this museum sounds like a must see, it brings together so many failed innovations from over the decades, from green ketchup to the Trump boardgame!
The collection consists of over seventy failed products and services from around the world. Every item provides insight into the risky business of coming up with something new, if you're not in Sweden soon, check out their website, the exhibition is on tour too so hopefully it will be landing over here shortly.

Check out the new design for Bradford based crisp making legends Seabrook, they seem to have tread the line between keeping the old classic logo styling and bring a new fresh look to the overall brand.

I can't believe Morph is this old, he's ageing well.
